*Official* Zimbabwe T20 Tri-Series July 2025

International Coach
It's great that Zimbabwe's golden gen of batsmen is still going at 39/39/39/38. You don't see that in top domestic leagues all too often.

Rather poor from all the batters so far. Pitch this bad or a combo of bad pitch and excellent NZ bowling.

Silver Silva

International Vice-Captain
This is a great opportunity for Simelane to stake his claim as the defacto seam bowling all rounder called Andile.
How does someone with a T20 domestic batting average of 7 after 30 matches get to play for Proteas at no.6 ?

I mean you guys made the T20 final in the last world cup surely you can't select mediocrity like that .

He is a project player at the moment who they see loads of potential in. The newer regime haven’t been shy of blooding some young guns although he does have the worst domestic record of the lot.

We are always on the look out for young players who seem to have a bit of X factor especially players of color which will benefit what CSA is trying to do in the long run, I know his stats don't look great but he did have some great games in the emerging series in BD which for some reason were not official games ..

Think he's been rushed into International cricket though and I would have kept him in the emerging set up until he gets some consistency..

Conrad hasn't got much wrong but Simelane batting above Linde , and Coetzee batting above Muthusamy is very optimistic to put it kindly.

Don't know how we got to 134 to be honest, don't know if that's even a good score but it's something to defend ! Linde was batting on a different pitch it seems about time we start treating him like a proper all rounder lol
