I wasn't sure to begin with because his batting isn't exactly powerhouse but I think over time it would prove more consistent than Fortuin. And not a bad insurance when you have Brevis , Bosch and Linde at 5,6,7.

He is growing on me, a bit like Corbin.

I do get the feeling that Bjorn feels he is unlucky but if Sen backs up Shukri's hunch then there is no need to look back.

The weird thing is that even though Muthusamy plays and seems like more of a batter, I’m pretty sure Fortuin has more FC hundreds at the top level? It’s a little weird if you think about it!

Disappointing from the senior batsmen.
Also really hope at some point brevis learns to play the situation. No need to go for a third six. Good effort from Linde.

Muthusamy has more hundreds, but it's from more games. He's got 9 from 112 games and Fortuin has 7 from 71, so Fortuin's actually scores hundreds more frequently. He also has the better batting average, although it's 31.03 compared to 30.78, which is a very marginal difference. Muthusamy does have more fifties though, 30 compared to Fortuin's 9, which suggests he's the more consistent batsman.

Nice that we won on the backs of performances from two newbies. Good to see Ish back in the wickets and great that Duffy is really building on his good form.

Did Seifert keep or was that a Cricinfoism?
