Just due to the white background of off stump I reckon. If you look closely there's no gap.

Not sure if It's only available in countries that don't show it but works for me in Thailand (and there's always vpn)

Not available in my country (United States). Willow's only $9.99 a month though, which is what I have, which is about on par with what a VPN would cost I think.
