Yeah, would be great if Kerr and Green can win it with this partnership. We can't always rely on the veteran trio of Bates, Devine, and Satterthwaite.

bowling's been a bit poor from India tho, have given plenty of freebies. But yea, quality batting.

Green's wickets was nice, but don't think NZ are going to lose from here.

Our middle/lower order collapsed quite badly in the first game - teetering a bit now here, hope we can hold it together.

Wonderful century from kerr, but has to be acknowledged that she's been LUCKY. Survived 3 run-out chances at this point I think? Not her fault india can't field though.

What a knock!! Encouraging win for NZ with their big three batters gone with not much on the scorecard. They better carry this aggression into the WC as well.

Good win that. Both teams batted well, but fielded poorly. Hope the White Ferns can perform well in the World Cup after being below par in the recent world tournaments.

Two big wickets up front for India defending 280. They better close this down this time.

Jhulan is back and gets rid of the dangerous openers quickly.

Early days but Meghana looks another talented batter who can give the team impetus with her attacking cricket.

The batting looks good for the post Mithali era.

Mandhana, Harmanpreet and Deepti being the experienced pros. Harmanpreet better get her mojo back.

There is Yastika Bhatia who has settled in decently into the team. And she is so pleasing to watch when in full flow. Mandhana and Yastika partnerships in the future would be a treat for the eye.

Jemimah isn't even in the squad.

And then there are Shafali and Richa Ghosh who are inconsistent (as of now) but can lift the gear up or two. Quick fire 30s and 40s on a consistent basis should be their aim.

Too many batters fighting for that top 4 spots (and I haven't even mentioned Poonam Raut). While Harman, Deepti and Ghosh at 5,6 and 7 looks good.

Spin stocks are good while the young pace bowlers look decent (not great but decent enough for now).

Having said all this, what the team lacks is application and playing to the situation of the game which is what is keeping them an above average unit.

Feels like the same pattern of the last game repeating itself here. Bowling just not consistent and disciplined enough atm.

A bit concerned about Amelia Kerr's bowling form in the last couple of games, but jeez she's batting well at the moment. Hope she can carry this on into the World Cup.
