He's back playing club cricket in Jamaica, he's carrying a lot of excess weight apparently.

He hasn't taken fitness seriously and is now a 135 - 143kph mess of a bowler who can't bowl spells of more than 3 overs. Yet another example of us not making the most of talent at our disposal.

How bad are the support setup/system in windies cricket in general. I've heard jarrod kimber talk about this issue in regards to the CPL and how cricketers like Odean smith who are in the nets bowling 150 k/s and smashing every ball for 6 can't get a CPL game because side's don't know how to fit him in and he just gets lost in the wilderness, or guys like blackwood who despite showing all the inclinations of whiteball ability in his test innings doesn't manage to consistently build his t20 game because of one failure. Is this an issue across the board or just in the t20/CPL stuff?

Jayden coming in and joining Alzarri to form a dynamic opening partnership is pivotal for the Windies upcoming chances.
There's no way they're binning Holder before the world cup, and I'm guessing most Windies fans would agree with that call.

Holder is not useless at least in ODIs. The 2 newballs and Oct-Nov d/n games in India will guarantee swing at least in the 2nd inning. You just gotta use him wisely and maybe get 6/7 overs of his done in 1 spell at the top.
