I assume that this is your XI for the 2nd Test? Wasim and Waqar with the new cherry?

RULE ADDITION:

Pitch conditions may be slightly altered up until the midnight deadline before a Test. This must be as follows:-

Only one factor may be changed by one point either way.

eg Spin-Medium-Pace => 5-5-5 may be changed to 5-5-6, but not 6-5-6 or 5-5-7.

It is indeed - why change something that clearly isn't broken?

I would asume this is from after the 2nd Test, as it seems a bit late to change it now.. nearly everyone has submited?

Also how come this is added anyway, surley different grounds can be completly different stlyes. (The Oval & Old Trafford... Perth & Sydney etc) - Obviously if your playing at the same venue, but we aren't.

I'm not sure what you are saying. I was stating that because IRL a pitch is set, but does not remain exactly as is predicted up until the start of a Test. It cannot be changed drastically, but small tweaks may be made. As such, a manager may name the pitch conditions and then slightly tweak one factor before the deadline.

For each Test match, the manager may name completely different conditions for the new pitch, but if the manager wants to tweak the pitch (as you did re: bounce) then he must comply with the rule, if his opponent has already named a starting XI. If the opponent XI has not been named, then the pitch may be changed completely.

I get you, I read it as meaning you can only change a pitch one point, between each Test.

Sorry :)

Just to ensure that this is clear...

Bounce rating - 1 is highest bounce, 5 is lowest.
Wear rating - 1 is least wear, 5 is most wear.

For pace, medium and spin, 0 is least and 10 is most. (ie 10 pace is a deadly pitch).
