*Official* Sri Lanka Tri-Series

I wonder why the Indians seem so vulnerable even with seven specialist batsmen. Ideally any team with so many batsmen would cruise through in such a situation. Is it the way these blokes bat? Or the pressure of a steep total in suddenly difficult conditions? Or too much pressure on too few bowlers? Time and again, they've given away more runs than they can score, even with such a selection. It's a lot more frequent than the few successful chases of 2002-04.

And I do feel for Rohit Sharma. He's one of the top limited-overs batsmen, but may lose his place on account of this series. He's not that bad a player to throw away. Karthik, Jadeja and Ojha, though...

Ishant coming in at 9 is a joke. What a ****ing long tail.

Congrats Lankans, batted well up front and got wickets when needed.

This Indian batting line-up is pathetic in ODIs right now.

A seriously disappointing performance from Dhoni in this game.

The Indian ODI team has more holes than Swiss cheese. Crap death bowling. Crap fielding. Crap tail. Shaky middle and lower-middle order. It's probably going to take double centuries from Sachin and Sehwag in the semi and final for us to win the world cup.

We had a decent shot at chasing this down. Kohli threw his wicket away at a bad time, was looking so good. :(

God I despite our limited overs teams atm. ODIs and T20s are just ****house right now.

Wtf kind of series was that from Rohit and waterboy. Defend these guys a lot but God damn it.

Okay, India lost, but a lot of lessons to take out of the series. The pace attack actually performed okay and we should act swiftly now in discarding the young batsmen who have been inconsistent in favour of some who have performed well in the domestic scene.

Whatever it takes!!!
not too perturbed abt the loss, tbh.. 4 first choice players missing.. Wonder what SL would have done without Dilshan, Mahela, Malinga and Randiv... But congrats to SL.. It was a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation for them with the other two teams being understrength and them being full strength but to their credit, they got the job done. Dilshan and Malinga are just so awesome.. :)

Have been in spot of bother. But, Thushara (injured), Murali (rested), Fernando (not used), Kulatunga (criminally not picked by select suckers) and Chandimal, who are deserving places in that line up would have made up a lot for it.

Credit to SL, you could see they just wanted it much more than us. They were very good in the field and the partnerships between Dilshan, Mahela and Sanga were excellent.

Majorly pissed off with the likes of Waterboy, he had atleast four lives in his 20-odd and still didn't capitalize. Karthik was also a big failure.

Karthik was at the rough end of few bad decisions. Rohit Sharma should have opened and Karthik should've played at 6/7

Who were our 4 first choice players? Sachin and Zaheer (both who we need to get used to not being around). Who else?
