*Official* South African tour of England and Ireland 2022

So this partnership is 65 runs so far which makes it somewhat surprisingly the highest Stokes-Foakes partnership ever, having only batted five times together.

It needs to beat 75 to get past the best Foakes-Woakes partnership (3 innings) and 83 to topple the best offered by Stokes-Woakes (8).

The question is, what's the best ever Test partnership between two rhyming cricketers? Sadly Peter Willey never put on a fifty stand with Graham Dilley, and after that I was all out of ideas.
It's an ODI match but Stuart Law and Mark Waugh put on 145 together.

Would you count Knott and Boycott? 215 at Trent Bridge, 1977

2 balls into the new ball and in the 90's and stokes decides to run down the pitch and try to slam the pacer. Odd decision. Especially after the boundary the ball before.
