We get to see Shamar in the maroon colors for the first time today, that is if he's 100% ready to go.

The lineup should be:

1. Johnson Charles (wk)
2. Kyle Mayers
3. Brandon King
4. Andre Fletcher
5. Alick Athanaze
6. Roston Chase
7. Jason Holder
8. Romario Shepherd
9. Akeal Hosein
10. Matthew Forde

They might ahead and play Hayden Walsh instead of one of the fast men.

Weird series this one with all the players missing. For us the key to things to watch out for are:

  • How Shamarh does. We need pace and new ball wickets, don;t care about his RPO. If it does come off, it will add a huge amount to our team
  • Opening batsmen. We need runs from King and Charles, they will be very important in the real tournament
  • Second/third spinner. As much as I really don't rate Roston (Thanos), he would perform a very valuable function in this team if he can score quick runs and keep it tight with his off spin as we have two excellent SLA options and not a lot else.

Yes, most teams playing in bilateral series before the World Cup have almost all their players who will feature in the tournament…
