Cody refused the Rock's (really life) request to turn heel so the Rock tanked the main event and didn't even show up.

A rare win for the rock

Odd night that. The triple threat to open was fantastic, Drew/Priest solid and the Hendry stuff was good fun but the rest a bit meh.

Logan and AJ had no heat despite the match technically been fine, Becky's pop was cool I suppose.

The main event was very dull unfortunately, cool I suppose to see the crowd cheer Cena but meh not much to enjoy especially compared to the 5 star match Cody had with Roman last year.

I actually liked the psychology and the thought behind the main event, Cena was working a very classic heel style to conserve energy and not make mistakes rather than going for it, I think the main problem is the fact that the final verse of the match is missing, after the batshit insanity and awesomeness of Bloodline rules last year, the least that could've been done was the Rock showing up but instead we got Travis Scott, which was just so dissapointing.

I feel The Rock is just being really petty right now?
Lazy is probably the right word, it's clear he was just called in for the Cena heel turn, I think I'd have preffered if Cena just won clean as a whistle, or won alone even if by cheating, If you're gonna have Travis Scott then you gotta have the Rock.

I think Batista is a much better actor than the rest and has definitely taken acting far more seriously. Cena probably second, has a decent range and can play against type a bit more. Edge isn't bad but he isn't great, solid co-star material for non major films.

The Rock isn't really an actor, he is a 'star'. He can just be The Rock in things and that is fun for people to watch.
Dwayne Johnson had a support role in Be Cool, that suggested that, if he really wanted, he could be more than just 'The Rock'.

he's the third most powerful person in the company. he wasn't called in, he called himself in. #2 (Nick Khan) and #1 (Ariel Emanuel) aren't gonna tell him to stop

i'm sure damage control will start from both sides, but it's clear that the Cena heel turn was a panic move and a failure. Cena still got cheers and Cody still got booed. no-one was anymore interested in the match because of the turn. big fat L for them. they even missed out on one of their favourite things, a wrestlemania moment, by pushing the turn earlier.

now they've ended up at their desired location, things will probably be slightly more orginaised (Punk vs Cena at MITB probably, etc)

Whatever it takes!!!
Yeah... I just think the triple threat from Night 1 may well have been the more impactful overall Main Event. They should have had that for N2 and had the Cena-Rhodes match on Night 1.

Cena Vs Rhodes was always going to be the N2 main event. It was absolutely the biggest match they could do and deserved top billing. It's just unfortunate that from the initial turn it was handled poorly.

Yeah m just saying for a month and a half now, the triple threat has been the best story and probably deserved to be the ME both for the build and for the actual match itself.

It also shows how even if you know the exact result and twist, the story can still make for compelling viewing with the right people there.

No more mumble rap in wrestling please. Who the f thinks this stoner garbage hypes people up?

The company's spreading itself way too thin with all these tie-ins to diverse markets and it's inevitably going to dilute its chief product.

IMHO you have to have more matches to be good than just the main event to have a good PPV/PLE/ABC Thank goodness I am not allergic to nuts, such a lot of nut shots over the weekend...

Maybe I am getting old, but I have to agree
