Ah I see what you mean. The only reservation I'd have about that is that it's a finish that would have had Rock/Austin WM 17 vibes. A face v face build would also have been a lot less interesting than what we actually got (faults with it notwithstanding) as well, for me personally.

Any long pending heel turn done at WM would always be compared to that, unfortunately.

That Cena-Orton promo sizzled. The gap in presence and charisma between these two and the next cabs off the block is nuts. Cena needed this, it's brought out shades of an older edge in him. Too bad it's happening at only the halfway mark of his stint. Should've been at the end with stakes to keep the belt in the company. But we know who's going to step forward to take that charge. Such poetic symmetry to it.

I've never liked Hogan and that's from before his public stock started plummeting. No wonder Taker got as big as he did with his silent zombie gimmick. People must've been tired of this guy screaming and ranting and about to bust a haemorrhoid for no good reason.

No company is immune to this, I have been through it a couple of times. But it must gall the talent when the high up brag about the gate takings etc plus all the new signings with big fat contracts. I guess HHH needs his new toys
