Often when you see an associate beat or get close to beating a full member you walk away from the game thinking the full member got their pants pulled down a bit by a poor quality even if determined side, but Ireland were professional, both batted and bowled well and held their nerve at the end. I thought they'd let the RRR climb too high, it's a bit of a recurring theme in Ireland's T20 chases. O'Brien bailed them out though and Stirling is just awesome, pretty much the perfect cricketer for an Associate to have.

Only saw one over where he was accurate and moving the ball away slightly, but then bowled a short and wide one that got driven off the back foot for four. Can't say from just that one over really.

When Ireland first came to the world's attention in the World Cup a few years ago, I was working in Dublin and went up to the clubhouse there to watch a couple of the games because most of the pubs weren't showing it.
