Well this game just became boring. If Pak keep batting tomorrow then Carey might as well bat out the rest of the match.

Not sure what the point of the 2-day CA 'nobodys' XI game is straight after this when they maybe could have had a 4-day game here instead.

Well that's thrown a spanner in the works. Pak looked like 500 was easy if they didn't retire 2 of their bats, while Aus is 6-44 with every one of the test hopefull out.

Bancroft to pull out another last chance effort that got him in the Ashes. Or maybe Finch, Handscomb, Stoinis, Smarsh to hit a big one tomorrow.

So this game so far has given absolutely no answers on selection whatsoever.

It shouldn't have anyway, if the selectors have even the slightest semblance of a clue what they are doing then they would be looking at far more. This whole "bat off for the Test team" meme is really fairly dumb.
