thats a pretty good signing, he obviously recognised hes going to be short of chances at the roosters with Monaghan, Roberts, Walker, Cross and co in front of him...

Im not convinced that next season will be any better but the Warriors have made some really good decisions in the wake of this years drama.

Cleary looks as though he's got potential as a coach, Campion will hopefully toughen up the defence..Price & Fien were stars in the finals series, Wiki is a reliable, consistent forward who will gain instant respect from the other players & Byrne is a solid winger.

wiki is better than reliable! he was the heart and soul of the raiders and new zealand test captain, probably the best players the warriors have now...

and id hardly say price was a star of the finals, was sin binned against the cowboys, played ok against melbourne, played 45 seconds against penrith and that was it!

i'm really confused as to why tony kemp was given a 2 year extension. he did nothing spectacular as coach, certianly nothing better than what daniel anderson. i was talking to some of the lads at the squash club, and they reckon he'll be brought out of his contract, so Cleary and Campion can take over. I've heard rumour that they didn't didn't see eye to eye with Kemp when they were players so perhaps it's not the best possible relationship the team could have.

i've heard one of stacey jones real problems is that his marriage is in trouble cause he got some cheerleader pregnant. so he's got a lot on his mind etc. i only hope things work out for him

Wiki has the 'Morley' factor, but his biggest problem is his bad suspension record.

In other news Manly has signed a released Michael Witt :(.

i cant understand why parra released witt, that means they have a let Thorman, Dykes and Witt leave with time still on their contracts for next season...
whos going to play in the halves for them?!?!

Reports are that parra are after Thomas Leuluai. If they happen to get him we will look something like this...

6. John Morris
7. Thomas Leuluai
9. Mark Riddell

14. PJ Marsh

haha, leuluai is pathetic, i wouldnt move morris from hooker, he had a blinder last season there, piggy riddell can play in the back row no worries, plus i wouldnt gamble on PJ Marsh playing much football next season, given parra's recruitment, they will finish in the bottom 2...

Witt wasn't exactly a world beater but he was solid week in week out, same can't be said for Leuluai... and although alot of parra fans have big raps on our juniors, it worries me a bit. Marcus Peranara (sp?) maybe :s

Leuleui has talent, but god knows when he'll ever show it.

Marcus Perenara DOES have talent...IMO Parra should be playing him ahead of Thomas.

Australia have announced their team for this weekends test, some real shocks, Berrigan in the centres in front of Cooper and Tate, O'Meley missed the 17 alltogether and Tonie Carroll will start at lock, Fitzgibbon was not considered due to injury, meaning Darren Lockyer is likely to be the goalkicker. Willie Tonga is also battling an injury and Matt Cooper is on stand by to replace him. Shaun Timmins will travel as 18th man...

1 Anthony Minichiello
2 Luke Rooney
3 Shaun Berrigan
4 Willie Tonga
5 Matt Sing
6 Darren Lockyer (captain)
7 Craig Gower
8 Shane Webcke
9 Danny Buderus
10 Jason Ryles
11 Willie Mason
12 Nathan Hindmarsh
13 Tonie Carroll

Interchange
14 Craig Wing
15 Petero Civoniceva
16 Ben Kennedy
17 Andrew Ryan

I can't believe with the amount of depth in Australian Rugby League that they're having to do a patch-up job like this.

I suppose there has been no time to call up emergency replacements.

Yeah i think its a much weaker side then what we could've put out...

No O'Meley.. Tony Carroll in there is a joke...

Oh well i guess it always happens a coach picks his own players, Anderson did it, now Bennett does it...
