Whatever it takes!!!
I think India won't be thinking this is easy to force runs.

I have full faith in our lads to not thrown in the towel
The pitch has slowed down a lot. Your only worry would be any of those cracks opening up even more. If it does not happen, scoring will be tough for all batsmen but survival should not be as difficult.

That's perfect recipe, if the batsman dots up lots there's always going to be a ball that'll have his number.

Really depends on how our spinners bowl. If they bowl accurately we can still dream the impossible. There's definitely going to be a result.

Jazzy is consistently looking to bowl the magic balls and drifting down leg. He's got to keep it quite accurate.

Having to bowl spin cos of light really feels like something that shouldn't exist in cricket anymore.
They took it from the batting side to the umpires. Maybe they should do the same to the bowling sides too. And I hope the pink ball technology gets better precisely for these reasons. We could see a time when all tests are played with pink ball even if they are not day/night and that means you can continue playing even if the floodlights take over to complete the required overs or whatever.

India clearly massively ahead but the Test isn't over yet
Except in the eyes of gambhiring NZ fans. :p

But yeah, as expected NZ fought extremely hard. If the pitch does not crack up more, it will be even more attritional cricket going forward. Ross Taylor will be key for whatever the score they will be chasing and for India, the magic number would be 250. Anything above that, they should be considered favorites.

Missed the collapse but saw the morning and the tail. Big day for India, were always going to come back hard at some point.

Very relieved to have the Cheat Code on our side. We need a miracle innings tomorrow because we're not chasing 200-220 on this deck. It's shooting low.

If Shreyas gets going, winning is certain. He can make sure that the target is closer to 300. If he fails, everyone else would have to get us to 190 allout or thereabouts to setup a day 5 thriller...with no crowds because it's on a ****ing Monday.

Mayank is one player that can repeat what Shreyas did.. But first he has to survive Southee & KJ in the morning which isn't going to be easy. Won't mind losing Pujara though.

Looks like NZ fluffed a gilt edged opportunity. Shame, can’t see a way back unless Southee and KJ do a Haze and Cummins imitation job in the first hour tomorrow.

Axar is a brilliant bowler in India but would be lucky to play fc cricket elsewhere

Crappy darts
He’d beast it in England cos all the bats would be collectively ****ting themselves, pitch or otherwise.

It’s also why all those players like 800 years ago who played in about 1-2 countries max simply cannot be considered better than players who proved it in multiple places.

Yes they were only playing what was in front of them, but this is what happens…
