Brownlie will be particularly disappointed to get out to a short rock given it's his strength and he was starting to look slightly more comfortable against Swann. Good ball, but if Brownlie is going to be a success in Test cricket he can't be getting out like that.

Guptill is properly toilet against spin, isn't he? Really looks village out there.
Just not a test quality batsman. Too many flaws in his technique.

Gun at T20, which highlights the ease with which flawed batting can succeed in T20.

Though English is not my native language, I think I'm not lying when I say my English is pretty ok. But you've got me here.

Being toilet = being crappy, as in a filthy toilet? Or being prefectly clean, like any toilet should be? Oor do you refer to making ones toilet?
Looking village = looking really cool, calm & collected? Or looking only fit to handle village cricket bowling?

Anyway, I think Guptill had a decent go in India a few years back.

Bolded the correct interpretations for you.

Taylor's been quality. Played really, really well after tea.
Hopefully he's over his lean patch now. NZ's feeble batting desperately need him to be in form.

It's no coincidence that our test victories over Australia and Sri Lanka included significant contributions from Taylor with the bat.

Hard hands from Guptill there, ball carried easily to slip. Was just a regular offspinner that didn't turn.
