Used to play in the same cricket team as Luke when I was about 14. Didnt realise he was still playing or he made any representative teams. If its the same guy I think it is. Yeah ,good old Howick-Pak. Kyle Mills and me. how can one club produce so much,, haha.

Mate I use to say to Kyle he was either going to represent NZ in rugby or cricket. We use to be really good mates - playing cricket most days or down at the nets. Top bloke.

Yup, I'd heard that too & he does strike me as a tough looking little bugger. Lesser players would have struggled to come straight back after that blow to the mouth he received playing Eng last year.

FTR, I'd like to think Flynn would concentrate on being a test specialist for the next couple of years at least as I've got a lot of time for him in the longer form of the game. Although, I'm sure from his point of view, he'd like to improve his ODI & T20 play since thats where all the big bucks are at

Strange that in commentary, Crowe mention that Daryl Tuffey is banned from playing in this domestic T20 competition (which I immediately assumed had something to do with his affiliation with the ICL), yet Bond is playing.

Does anyone know why Tuffey wouldn't be able to play in this comp?

Strangest situation in history - full-toss from Hira gets hit back by the batsman which hits Hira's fingers, onto the non-striker's bat, up onto Billy Bowden's chest and down onto the stumps. The non-striker is out of his crease, and Bowden goes upstairs. It's called not out, presumably because the ball is dead due to hitting Bowden...

Very odd but the right result.
