***Official***Match # 43- Australia vs Bangladesh - November 11th - Pune (D)

Nintendo

Cricketer Of The Year
Head averaging 41.21 in ODIs before this innings, 101.44 SR, spin probably best not to be bowling (16 wkts again before today, 58.81 apiece and ER 5.79 which is nothing special

better home (47.12) than away (38.42), well batting anyway, equally awful with ball, does only average 32.80 in India, only 29.00 in kiwiland and 1 from 1 innings in windies

in India one hundred, one fifty, four single figure scores and does not like a good Wankhede stadium with 0 and 5, 11 and now 10 to go with his four ducks means from six of his 12 innings he's managed 35 runs @ 5.83, from the other six 304 runs @ 60.80

too many low and modest scores, when he gets in doesn't go that big that often (109, 51no and 42 his high scores in India) and his spin not enough to warrant selection for that. BUT how many can produce better all-round batting figures and in India.... (that could come in)
Why are you including the 3 years of ODI cricket in 2016-2018 where head was batting middle order more than opening in this? He came back into the side in 2022 to open exclusively and has been a completely different player while doing so. Clearly a better player in tests and the few t20I stints he's had aswell. 2022 he made 550 runs @65 and a sr of 115, 2023 he's made 361 runs @45 and a SR OF 145. He's in this team for a reason and has done nothing wrong recently to even begin to warrant discussion of dropping him.

Edit: Even this WC, he's averaging 33 @145. Nothing wrong with that, at all. Smith, inglis and stoinis have all been worse this tournament for us, and so has marnus arguably.

Rhodes the most overrated fielder in cricket history. Was very good but not load-blowing worthy as so often portrayed
I always hated it that le uber meme fielder was primarily great at stopping boundaries and singles instead of taking heaps of great catches.

King Kane

International Debutant
Shanto nearly did a Gibbs there but luckily he controlled it before he spilled it with the celebration.

Glad Nasum is getting an extended bowl at Smith given the qualify left armers waiting for us in the draw.
