Moooo
Yep, they have killed some of these chases well enough. Their bowling in the first innings will need more scrutiny and test. And that’s probably the most important period in odis.

Their **** bowling will be exposed against India and NZ.theyve nailed the powerplay bowling better than any team other than maybe India. That Sri Lanka match was a road as well. That Netherlands matched they messed up though. Their main issue has been cleaning up the lower order/ tail but most of these games were done and dusted by the time they wagged. But lot of their games they’ve pretty much closed it out after 20 overs with like 3-5 wickets
elevated above their real standing ie aren't that goodwhats test status to do with playing extremely bad in world cup?
except those who chose to bat first, until today, lost, so out the window goes the theory in dew courseI think it's plainly obvious that you bat and then get a bit of help with the new ball under the lights. The dew has really not been a factor apart from maybe the Eng/NZ game which then utterly spooked England into bowling against Afghan and SA.
And yes, India are confusing everyone because they like chasing and are just better than everyone else anyway.
Wow, that's more than India and NZ combined .South Africa's problem vs the tail
1.Sri Lanka 232/6,
End up on 326 all out (94/4)
2.Australia 70/6
End up on 177 all out (107/4)
3.Netherlands 112/6
End up on 248/8 (136/2)
4.England 68/6
End up on 170 all out (102/4)
5.Bangladesh
81/6
End up on 233 all out (152/4)
Runs conceded after having a side 6 down from the teams in top 3 positions on the table :
India- 196 Runs
New Zealand- 199 Runs
South Africa- 591 Runs
Absolutely ridiculous!
I don’t know if it’s because they let the foot off the pedal a bit. But they definitely need to bring the right guys back earlier to finish the game whether it’s Rabada or someone with variety. They have the first 30 overs set for their bowling at the moment thoughSouth Africa's problem vs the tail

It's already cost us one game vs the Netherlands, and letting a side get an extra 40 or 50 runs than they ought to will cost us dearly when the inevitable tense game comes along.I don’t know if it’s because they let the foot off the pedal a bit. But they definitely need to bring the right guys back earlier to finish the game whether it’s Rabada or someone with variety
yeah right cricket should be played between only two elite teams. ICC is looking for youelevated above their real standing ie aren't that good
also generally speaking how good you are in Tests is a reasonable reflection on ODIs, windies, lanka, ireland, desh, not the best in Tests or ODIs, not a coinkydink
My bad got it wrong after early wicketsYeah right dude
Same here. Their bowling is what is standing out to me though with scoreboard pressure.More than SA’s batting, I am impressed by their bowling. I doubt any other bowling side would have reduced Bangladesh to 50/4 in first 10 overs . And they did the same to England as well as Australia
Yes dew has not been a big factor thus far!I think it's plainly obvious that you bat and then get a bit of help with the new ball under the lights. The dew has really not been a factor apart from maybe the Eng/NZ game which then utterly spooked England into bowling against Afghan and SA.

Ping @poorlyagedstuffWe probably need around 320-330 to be competitive here
