Yeah.. PBKS missed a trick not picking Rashid over that Aussie seamer. He is not bad but this pitch is not the one for him. Krunal continuing in the XI is gonna cost MI sooner than later. Not sure Tiwary is an answer to anything either. But Hardik back in form and Pollard going well with bat and ball is good news for them.
I feel that the Harpreet dropped catch of Hardik cost them…but Pollard coming in and smacking them wasn’t gonna an issue.

TBF, it is the one thing you can always expect with him.
Never cease to be amazed how far he's fallen in his dotage. The Gavaskar I was first exposed to sitting across from Brian Langley was measured, erudite, and plain pleasant to listen to. Since becoming indispensable to the Indian commentary circuit, he's said **** it to all that; he now resembles the babu in desi offices who takes long tea breaks thrice a day and still manages to leave work before 4 PM. It's his adda now.

reminder that dc has gotten 5 games this ipl averaging 1 at a sr of 36 and has gone at 9 an over without a wicket and yet continues to get picked ahead of david.

Is it too late to swap Kishan out for Samson next month? They jumped the gun, should've waited till farther into the IPL before announcing the squad.

I don't think inexperienced batsmen should be sent down the order(especially number 7) unless they can contribute enough with the ball. Batsmen at number 7 will not get to bat on flat wickets and will come in early on difficult ones(and usually have to go after the bowlers from ball 1), very easy to get a few low scores in a row and lose confidence at that position. Plus batting with the tail or finishing off the game requires some level of maturity and experience.

Huge agree on this. Scorchers did the same thing with green when his bowling was ****ed in 2019 and it did him alot of bad. Also, phillips for livingstone next game.

Not sure what the deal is moving Livingstone around each game. If he isn't going to bowl he needs a fixed position in the batting order, unless Rajastan Royals isn't primarily an IPL cricket team...
