Just as a point of note, Bairstow has a horrible batting average in tests as a specialist batter (28) compared to being a keeper (42). It makes playing him as a specialist batter even weirder. Going into the game averaging 28.11 in 18 tests as a specialist batter and they move him up to 4 too. Typical English type of selection tbh
First time he's played not as a keeper since 2015. But he's obviously still the same player as then.

Very encouraging innings by pujara so far. Still looks streaky against good deliveries but atleast he's found a way to get out of that initial rut.

Another good session from India... Kohli looks so impressive at the moment. I think he has got better on these overseas tours, from SA to Eng and through the series.
