True... though I found it easier to get on board with Kohli's rise even though he didn't have a great start in Tests either. Maybe due to his superior technique.

I just thought he got wildly overrated because of that 264 against a half-dead SL, as incredible as it was. So was probably redressing the balance a bit in my own mind.
