Well this is all rather predictable. Woakes figures, my word.

We can hang with WI/Pak/Ind but are so far behind Aus/SA/NZ.

I don't think the comment is unfair. Morgan has been struggling with the bat for quite a while now dating back to the BBL and Sri Lanka; apart from that hundred in Sydney he has been very scratchy.

Bopper fails is it fair to give Hales a go, neither have done anything last 12 months in ODIs but not sure you can just let Ravi play badly without bowling? I don't think Ballance is the bloke you want there.

Isn't ballance considered a pretty good one day batsman?

51 average at a SR of 90 in list A is nothing to sniff at.

Trouble is we have Morgan out of nick too, don't think it matters who we pick as we just aren't good enough to go anywhere near winning a world cup.

He is a good top order bat but not sure having to come in and score quickly (which at least in theory a 6 should do) is his game. He can hit a ball but he tends to want to get set, and hits in areas fairly easy to cut off late on.
