Utd sold Elanga to Nottingham Forest for 15 million pounds, who then sold Elanga to Newcastle for 55 million after two years

The type of business that keeps stable in the Prem.
Great bit of business from Forest !
On the flip side Leeds sold Kalvin Phillips (an acadamy graduate) to Man City for 45 million and Raphinha to Barca for 60 million after paying 17 million for him, and where did that get us?

Anyway, bring on the MNF!!

Fair points, it may just be because the rights over here are now with a new broadcaster and the amount of advertising vs analysis/replays across the whole coverage has increased significantly. It's only a small thing but at 2 or 3 in the morning it definitely feels like a harder watch when half-time is 90% ads and 10% highlights rather than the other way around. I'd rather be forced to sit through the Kit Kat halftime interview break rather than watch an actual Kit Kat ad, basically.
Yeah, makes sense. I guess for me the thing is that, unlike US sports for example, ads do not really interrupt or interfere with the game whilst it is in play, and so they do not really affect my enjoyment of the viewing experience at all. That's not to say I enjoy the ads that are shown at half time, I don't. But that just means I go away and do something else for 15 minutes until the game starts again, which is obviously a strategy that is not so easy to implement when watching something that has ad breaks every 4-5 minutes.

I'm sure that money helped with Leeds getting back to the Prem ! Anyway the masters of wheeling and dealing is Brighton 💀

I don't think Brighton are wheeler dealers at all. They just have a track record of making excellent roster management decisions.

I questioned Casemiro starting but Ugarte showed why. Totally unsuited to the speed of the league. A goal from a keeper error was pretty predictable also.
Yep Ugarte hasn't quite cut it.Utd's central midfield is too easy to run through with Casemiro and Bruno.

Not convinced it was a penalty, wasn't like his arm was sticking out, but it did hit it (although was probably going straight to keeper anyway). But Leeds (like Sunderland) look like they won't be guarantees for relegation like previous promoted sides. And with the likes of Brentford, Wolves, West Ham all looking like they could potentially struggle too, only Burnley look nailed on.

Yeah I thought it was a pretty clear penalty and was surprised to be in the minority. You can’t get away with throwing your arm at the ball just by throwing your chest with it.
