8.33 in 9 overs is going to be tough with what we have left.

These two need to knock off most of the runs.

And Nicolls fails.

I have no clue what you guys see in him, he clearly isn't good enough for this level.

I'd be blooding in Chapman in his place now, while we still have time before the WC. Feels like he'll be waste of a spot for the WC and it's only after it we'll realize he's not an international cricketer.
I'd also like this, but Hairy Nipples is going to get a bit more of a run. Maybe next summer.

Chapman's knock in the Ford Trophy final was again epic.

Silly run there

Thank god Buttler messed up.or else he was gone.

CdG goes... man it's going to suck if we lose it from here after all the work Latham and Taylor put in.

This middle order is weak as hell and definitely requires changes to compete with the top teams.

Ba-bow, just ducked away for a moment and Nicholls is out! He's tentatively earned his spot but it won't take many failures to lose it again. We'd all be happy to see Chapman in anyway.

Damn CDG, that wasn't good either.

Weren't you calling for him to be brought into the T20 side in place of all the other batsmen you don't like the other day?
I've never rated the guy LMAO. He shouldn't be playing any international cricket unless he improves significantly. Bringing him into the T20 side would weaken it.

This is going bad very fast

Literally all Latham's fault, Hendrix might get a brain bleed.

are we dropping blokes after one early departure now?

nicholls and lord colin are being asked to come in and get on with it on a deck everyone has found tricky to get started on.

latham's fitness or concentration or whatever is unacceptable. he's been mentally disappearing after 80 balls for two years now. this is harsh but he and taylor needed to bat for as long as possible because of the nature of the deck and he got out and made it hard work for the guys after him.

Nah, CdG and Latham are still fine. Latham's innings tonight has taken some pressure off him. Nicolls on the other hand has never looked good, even when he's scored he's needed an early life or two to score runs.

But Nicholls is the essential bit player
Nicolls is useless, he scores runs after the opposition have given him a life. If you look at any of his decent knocks, all of them have had one or more lives. Outside those he has nothing innings.

Nicolls isn't a free scoring player CdG or Munro either, both fulfill the role of scoring quick runs for the team and take scoring pressure off the likes of Guptill, Williamson and Taylor.
