Many mistakes were made by both sides tbh but England made far fewer in the second innings and we dropped the match when Axar dropped that catch.
But to me, the real reason we lost is how quickly we lose the plot when batsmen are successful attacking us for like 10 mins. It worked for Head and it has worked for Pope. I suppose the small consolation is that now most batsmen will try and burn themselves out as its not always as it seems and you need a bit of luck but when you do get it, we are sitting ducks. Hope Rohit grows a spine and some patience at least from the next test.
