Looks like this is going the way of the last Test so far, goodish first innings without being massive for England, giving India the chance of a decent lead if they can really bat well.

Nah, England will still score 450+, especially because the pitch is incredibly slow & these two are looking at ease against the slow spin.

There's **** all in this pitch TBH. Indian batsmen need to dig in and get their share.

What the hell? They're 340/7, with no recognised batters left.
Dawson is a batsman who can bowl, and he is looking comfortable out there. And so is Rashid. Barely a false shot, let alone any play & miss.

Broad can bat too and so can Jake Ball, so it's hardly unexpected if England score another 100+

350 up!

Wankhede was turning much more. Who knows, this one might assist seamers a bit more as the game progresses.

There's a difference between it not being unexpected that the last 3 wickets will add 100+ and it being likely they will, which you seem to be implying.

Whatever it takes!!!
We should never play on the black soil wicket in Chennai, esp. the winter test. It might be better if we got a test against Aus in March and we played on this track which would have settled/worn by then. For the winter tests, BCCI needs to ensure we play on the red soil tracks wherever possible. But this is perhaps the coolest I have ever seen in Chennai during December so who knows what part the weather is playing in all this.

Oo-de-lally, oo-de-lally, golly, what a day... Looks like India's morning, but what does the post-prandial posturing have in store for us? "Early" Daws and "Dil Dil" Rashid must have 400 in their sights. Of course, "Our" Ashwin and Sir Jaddu will also have their crosshairs trained
what is this gibberish
