to be fair people moan about pitches but generally speaking it is the same for both sides - Test matches and batting or bowling first advantage aside

Wow ! What an upset ..

Nigeria have beaten Namibia at cricket.
Yeah, that isn’t Namibia’s first XI. None of their best players were in that game. Not dissimilar to Kent beating South Africa today too - none of South Africa’s first or even 5th team (™) which toured NZ in that line up.

Still good wins for Nigeria and Kenya though.

Pretty underwhelming that this will go down as Kenya's first ever win against South Africa in a full international

Well, since their loss to Kenya, Cricinfo have changed the RSA team name to ‘University Sport South Africa’. I’ll be interested to see if they change it back if they win the tournament.

South Africa's T20I ranking taking a beating in these African Games. Both men and women. Will be interesting to see if the tournament organisers / ICC / CSA maintain these matches as full T20Is or not

The team names on Cricinfo have been changed, so it appears that international status has already been removed. CSA were referring to the sides as University Sports and SA Emerging before the tournament started, so it seems as though they never intended for the matches to be internationals.
