Tait is definitely annoyingly over-rated by the wider public but as long as he's not costing an arm and a leg he's still worth his place in the team.

Wouldn't want him on my team, from my admittedly naive perspective.

Problem is that he only brings one skill to the table. He can't bat and isn't a good fielder so if his bowling takes a hit he can't make up for it. Still better than some other alternatives so yeah if he wants to play for a reduced fee then give him a go.

Not a fan of Jono Dean. though. His batting seems to be stuck in the early era of T20 when blokes like Ponting didn't know what to do other than look for balls to slap. Like last night, he might middle a couple bit a miscue is always absolutely on.

Berry was saying last night to the commentary team that he was happy with how Jono Dean approached his batting as the plan was to go after Siddle. I don't necessarily think that he should be your first choice number 3 but he's good enough to be getting a Big Bash contract next season.

Yeah, that's probably more what I wanted to get at, batting a bloke like that at 3 is the problem and he batted similarly in Perth. He hits them really well and looks decent doing it too but he's not the Brad Hodge build-an-innings type. If he gets going with 5 overs to go, though......
