*Official* Bangladesh in South Africa 2022

Are they expecting the pitch to spin here? Bowling looks risky if it doesn't. No ngidi Rabada or nortje and olivier hasn't looked good since been back

Yeah Bangladesh could realistically go big (450+).
No chance bruv. Ball's been seaming around right through to 70+ overs, and now there's a bit of variable bounce and it's not unhelpful for spin. They've already got enough. Would like to see our guys show some resilience though, and get some runs out of guys like Joy and Shanto who'll be carrying our team soon when the senior players retire.

This Harmer can bat and all. Hanging around and making the score more imposing. He's already put it beyond us with this cameo tbh

Most of the coastal venues have become far more spin than seam friendly of the years. Not Nagpur but definitely spin on offer.

I`ll take that after being put in... I still wish we had a batting order that could really dominate.

To be fair, the pitch hasn't offered much for the seamers since lunch. We don't have 450 in us despite recent surprises, but it would have been nice to get them out quickly and have a few more overs on the day 2 pitch.

It'll start spinning soon and we might be up against it.

Not too convinced about Joy's backlift and technique against the straighter deliveries. He seems to close the face too early and LBW always looks like an option. Think Lizard is onto something bowling straight and trying to trap him.

That faster ball by Harmer was unreal. I remember watching him against us in 2015 but can't remember too much about him. They need to realise very quickly he's got that faster ball and stop playing off the back foot so breezily.
