Maxwell's first over of the night was the sign of things to come for the spinners. That ground is so tiny. Straight sixes are the way to go.

Ok.seriously..... Australia won the toss again. This is getting ridiculous. 7 in a row. We've lost all but one toss in white ball matches this year. Bit of an issue when you have a bowling attack as bad as ours.

Might as well go home now,the resukt has been decided.

Why would Australia not choose to bat now the series has already been won? Especially when they keep picking Connolly and now Hardie to sit down the order & hardly bat.

Nice to see Bartlett at least. And no JFM again so maybe they've finally given up on him.

He's been rested here. Idk why. Dizzy from swinging too hard or something. This must put a question mark over his suitability for the ashes. We might have to manage him like India does Bumrah to get the best out of him.

As an aside to that important issue are we trying to screw up Hardie's career? We took a promising AR out of fc cricket and dumped him in the lower order for T20s and give him a bowl after someone like Connolly. I see he got the new ball today but there doesn't seem to be a plan to get him to be the player he could be.

I'd say I'm generally inclined to be generous about the decisions of coaches and selectors, but the way that Hardie has been managed over the past few years has really pissed me off. No clue what the plan is for him now, but hopefully he goes back to playing more Shield.
