I'm with GingerFurball on this one, Watson seems to be one of the few Australian batsman capable of surviving when it's moving around a bit, along with Katich and Hussey. His average would be higher was it not for the last of higher scores to boost it. Yes his inability to capitalise is a worry, but 46 as an opener certainly isn't the worst average by a long shot. Some of his shot selection suggest perhaps too much limited overs cricket maybe? Thoughts? He does play all 3 versions of the game and does so at a world class level, but maybe with the amount being played, it's inevitable that the mind can get confused with wanting to dominate.
The first sentence of your post is totally contradicted by the rest.

Uhh... in future, could you use the edit button, or multi-quote instead of a massive quote train? Just a little request.

$1.90 apeice for the 1st 20/20 via bet365. Would have thought thats good money for saffers
$1.96 on BetStar. Australia are $1.84 -- The teams are pretty even really, no AB de Villiers helps Aus but our bowling attack is going to be fairly inexperienced now that Lee is out.

This is a pretty telling stat though - Australia have won only one of their previous eight Twenty20 internationals, while South Africa have won six of their previous seven
