.... Congrats to AB De Villiers in setting a new record by scoring a fifty in 12 consecutive test matches

Breaks the 38 year old mark that was held by Viv Richards (and later equalled by Sehwag and Gambhir)- 11.

Easily the best batsman in the world right now...

Congratulations to AB de Villiers on his discovery of the Neutrino, the Higgs Boson and his 47 Nobel Prizes which he will collect after picking up his Biathlon, Speed Skating and Ice Dancing gold medals at the Winter Olympics.

Display of fortitude by the Aussies, as well as by Elgar and ABdV. Aside from QdK's wicket, everything else was a true fight. Good, but boring, cricket. Wish Elgar had looked better!

Must admit I was expecting worse than 5-214 at 2.58 runs per over.

Australia obviously need to get rid of AB ASAP tomorrow. But provided they don't let them get away, are still reasonably well placed.

Get on the draw.

Don't have an issue with pitches like this personally, it's Test cricket, good players adapt, etc. Think SA were just a bit defensive too although, to be fair, it's understandable considering the quality of the attack an that they're under the pump in general.
