But it's not.
Its inspired by the real life story of an Indian field hockey goal keeper. - Negi. India reached the Asian Games finals being played in Delhi for the first time (1981 I think) after the inaugural games in 1951 (I think).

India and Paksitan reached the finals and in an emotion charged finals, after taking a one goal lead, India lost 9-1 !!

Negi was abused and reviled by the entire country. All kinds of dirty rumours were spread and the poor fellow had to virtually go into hiding from public life. He lived a miserable existence. Negi was a Nepali Indian.

Chak de is about an Indian Muslim hockey star who misses a penalty stroke in a hockey final and faces a similar humiliation. His being a Muslim is used disgracefully against him in every sphere of life and his loyalty to the country is questioned.

After living a life in oblivion he comes back as the coach of a woman's hockey team and converts them to world champions to redeem himself in the process.

Its a very good movie, by the way.

Yes it's a great movie tbh. Btw, SJS ever watched that show Jhalak Dikhlaja? That Negi guy is participating in it, haha I find that quite funny.

The runs are coming at a good pace for the Aussies atm so that's releasing all the pressure.
Not now. In the 9 overs before Yuvraj's first, 9 overs had ceded 38 runs and three wickets.

That slowed them a lot.

Now 15 from Yuvi and 1 from Karthik. and we have Sachin in inspite of playing five bowlers.

This is what happens when one of your main bowlers, Sreesanth, cant be trusted after a mere three overs.

Haddin is under the pump and that might put Symonds under pressure, all Haddin needs to do is pinch singles and give as much strike as possible to Symonds.

Haddin is one of the better players of spin but he is looking clueless atm against spin.
