I really thought when Australia dec, this was gonna end in a draw...but again...the Indian batting fails
That's just about the stupidest thing I've heard in the last two days on this forum.

I must say I'm disappointed how few people gave AA credit for his fine knock today.
Fine knock, maybe, but it was made when the game was gone and there was nothing to play for. Out of curiosity, how many decent contributions has he made when the chips were down? I remember in a ODI last season in the VB series when he played a pretty good knock. Decent half century, and was pretty quick too.

But what's the point in giving him credit for trying to slog the Aussie bowlers around when the game is all but lost? I didn't see him do much in the first innings to help out the Indians when the game was still alive.

it tells me that India could come back like they did in 2001.....................
What are the odds of you walking out your front door and getting struck by lightning? What are the odds of it happening to you twice in three years? Marc's a betting man, he can tell you.

he isnt there for his batting he is there for his bowling and with a test average of 44 he would struggle to make any side.

 Another one wanting Parthiv's head. Can you tell us what has Chopra done as an opener, Even Parthiv has better better than him ? If not for his wicket keeping skills, Parthiv can replace Chopra as a batsman on any given day at any batting position whereas Chopra will have a tough time replcing Parthiv even on his best day.
I see your point and I agree Chopra hasn't done very well, he's just as disappointing as Yuvraj. I dont understand why they're overlooking people like Gambhir and Jadhav for the opener's slot. As for Parthiv, People dont like Parthiv because he's been given two years to improve and he hasn't. I've yet to see a great performance from him as a wicketkeeper. i think a keeper should be able to keep. Parthiv would have to get atleast a fifty in every match he plays in order to make up for the byes and dropped catches. Believe it or not, there are a couple of people in domestic cricket who can do the job well. I just dont see the harm giving Dinesh Karthik or even MS Dhoni a chance, that's all.

Congrats to the Aussies for winning the series, they definitely outplayed the indians, to say the least. But I'm king of disappointed because this was supposed to be "the battle of the giants" but it turned out to be a battle between a giant and a midget. O well, I'm looking forward to the Ashes.

india could never save the game nikhil. their batting line up is good at best but when they are such mental wrecks then of course they are going to crumble.... Chennai last time was different. the way they were bowling in aussies second innings it was clear they knew they were going to lose. they had no belief...

congrats to all of the indian supporters on ur attitude. u have all been marvellous....
