Have to love this Indian ODI batting lineup, so many stars, on any given day one or two will step up and when they all do on the same day like the last match you get incredible totals.

Marsh doing his best, hopefully he can get that strike rate above 10.

There we go! It's up to 11 now, record.
ffs, let him grow in the role. This is what these matches are for before the World Cup. He'll only get better with an extended run.

Aw Harby. First ball. He becomes a much better bowler after an early wicket too. Interesting period of play this, a new batsman at one end and his bunny at the other.

Shame that, Watto needs a big score or two to try to hold onto his test spot. There seems to be a real push for Hughes, even the selectors are coming out and saying they want him back, and Hussey is playing well at the moment.

The problem lies in the fact that there are people with more talent, with more potential to grow in that role and even those people are at their stage in their careers better batsmen than Marsh is now.

:( Ponting must be sick of Jadeja already on this tour. Has dismissed him 3 times out of 4 now...

India seemingly doing Aus a huge favour letting Hussey/White get settled whilst Yuvraj is bowling.

I'm really relieved to see Hussey back in good form. He's such a good player to watch, and a genuinely nice guy too.

Game's at an interesting stage now too.

There isn't that much on offer, if memory serves me right with no real stand out batsmen from last season. It's about taking a long term view for the big prize and wasting his early problems on matches that don't matter too much.

Think you'll find he's talking about Hughes tbh. Agree with you though, best off letting Marsh get back into touch now, and improving his game before the WC. He's shown enough in his ODI career-to-date to suggest he can be a good opener for the team over the next 5+ years.

Henriques is at six? Australia really look a batsman short. The top order have to be a bit cautious, as there's not that much to come later. It's tough to score 300 with that hanging over you.
