Cricket Addict,
Do you think india have any plan to face Spencer Jonson at Oval june 7-11 Spencer @ Left arm Medium fast bowler Indian player Lack the skill in last 5 year vs Topley ( 6 fer) Vs Mustafizur (5fer) vs Boult ( 5 fer) & now M. Starc (5/53)

Spencer is included in Aus A vs Lion in eng for Un official> Couple of test who took 16 wkts in 2 FC games in Aus
Aus Have him on Ashes Radar.

When India will learn to face Left arm fast or medium fast bowker?
Assuming you are asking me (not sure why me specifically if so), I had no idea of this bowler till you have mentioned him here now.

But yes, it looks like India has a weakness against left arm pacers. With Unadkat in the squad now, they should be able to practice a bit more against that variety. But Unadkat is not of great pace as well and hence, I think this problem will be sorted out only once a similar bowler gets into the team.

Marsh should be one of the first chosen as we aren’t winning anything by dawdling along to 275-300

Warner
Head
Marsh
Smith
Green
Carey

Marnus shouldn’t even be in the squad & there’s an argument for replacing Maxwell with David unless his form improves
Head (7)
Marsh (6)
Warner
Smith
Green (3)
David (8)
Maxwell (5)
Carey
Cummins (2)
Starc (1)
Zampa (4)

8 bowling options although a few are batting all-rounders

They dont need both David and Maxi.. They can play one of them and play Haze or Agar for the other guy.

Maxwell's has been out best ODI bat in the past 2-3 years, no way we drop him. Also don't get why people still want to shuffle smith around the order in ODI'S. We tried this last WC and over his entire career and it doesn't work. He's the best ODI #3 in the world bar Kohli and Babar and dogdicks when he bats below #3.

Warner & Maxwell probably pick up tomorrow. last chance for Surya and Also Sunder should in indian team

Decider tomorrow at Chennai

Stats
India and Australia played the first ODI ever at MA Chidambaram Stadium in 1987, which was a World Cup thriller where Marsh's father Geoff Marsh starred making 110. Australia have played four ODIs in Chennai since but only once against India.

Batting second has proved very beneficial in the series so far but 13 of the 22 ODIs in Chennai have been won by the side batting first. But West Indies beat India chasing in the last ODI here in 2019.

KL Rahul has 1954 runs in 50 ODI innings. If he scores another 46 on Sunday, he will be the joint second-fastest Indian behind Shikhar Dhawan (48 innings) to reach the landmark.

Smith is 61 short of 5000 runs in the format. If he gets there in his next innings, he will be the joint second-fastest for Australia.
He is also one century short of equalling Ricky Ponting for most ODI 100s against India for Australia.

- Virat Kohli has had extreme fortune at Chepauk. In seven ODI innings there, he has two fifties, one hundred and four single-digit scores

Haven't flicked this on yet but Ellis has to be a bit stiff unless the deck looks a real turner. Maybe they want the extra batting of Agar over him. or they feel sorry for Agar after they dicked him around so much on the test leg of the tour. Suppose they need to see how he goes in the conditions given the WC, but still think Ellis very unlucky. Has never really let Aus down when he's played so far.

Early indications would suggest this is a 350 pitch, Marsh happily smashing through the line. But then he's fooled us with the pitch once already this series.
