Zampa's hairstyle is atrocious. Decent limited overs spinner though.

Why do the commentators on sky keep on about why was Ali not picked as the ball is spinning.Have they looked at his bowling in the last 4 one dayers 0 wickets for134 runs.should have been replaced ages ago.I am afraid Root started this collapse with run out and becoming strokeless.Without stokes England no where Near as good as they think they are

Good to see Adil finding some form with the bat. Pity he's never really been an all rounder at limited overs level.

Whatever it takes!!!
Hoping for a good match. But get the feeling Aussies will knock this off easy. Unless they are like 100/5, I don't see how Australia will lose this one.

International Captain
Don't think there are many players with as many first class tons as Rashid that look as poor at the higher level.
But those hundreds were all in the county championship and Rashid doesn't play Tests for England. His record as a batsmen is barely any different in ODIs than in List A cricket.

ODIs: 633 runs @ 18.61 with a high score of 69. No centuries and 1 fifty.
List A: 1,754 runs @ 19.06 with a high score of 71. No centuries and 2 fifties.

In tests he didn't look very good though either.

International Debutant
Sam Curran batting 8 and not opening the bowling ... looks kind of redundant in the side.
He provides left arm variation. They obviously decided to go with him over Ali, who now averages ~51 with the ball in odis and ~58 vs right handers.
