They are no 1 by a long way (Jones and Crowe 2nd with 552 vs SL 91/92 but they only had 2 partnerships).

Blundell has also gone past Warren Lees (in Pakistan mid 70s) for the most in a series for a NZ keeper.

God that was such a panicky selection. In another universe Blundell gets dropped from opener but this time doesn't finally recover his form against SA and gets dropped permanently.

Impact was a bit further down the wicket than I initially thought, which is why the angle was enough to take it down.
