Need answers to dumb questions

Hello,
Ok I have some very basic and probably very dumb questions. Would appreciate if anyone can help. Here goes:

(1) How do I quote multiple posts in my response? I mean I can obviously select "quote" on a single post, but that takes me directly to my response. How do I quote another post (or 2 or 3) in that same response?

(2) How do I post pictures without uploading them as "attachments"? I see people past pics all the time, but when I try to "paste" in a post, that option is always disabled.

(3) When posting a website link, how do I type over the URL to say something I want? So instead of www.somerandomnwebsite.com, I want to link with my own wording.

Thanks for the help in advance. Cheers!

MSN HOME PAGE [ /url]

I have added extra space after 'url' and before '/url' just to display how it is written, if you remove the extra spaces, this is what it will look like :-

MSN HOME PAGE

They have to be from the web and have a URL. You get the URL of the picture, copy it, then in a reply box click on
then paste the URL of the image into that.

If the picture is on your computer you have to use a file hosting website like photobucket.

And for your first question, to put the text in a quote box, you copy and paste the text into a reply box, highlight it and click
.

Unfortunately this doesn't have 'originally posted by' at the top so you have to mention where the quote is coming from, or otherwise type =USERNAME] after [QUOTE.

If that makes sense...

[QUOTE*] What person 1 said [QUOTE*] What person two said

Remove the asterisks and it should appear as:
What person 1 said
What person two said

For question 2...
(2) How do I post pictures without uploading them as "attachments"? I see people past pics all the time, but when I try to "paste" in a post, that option is always disabled.
Find the URL of the image you want to use from the internet, for example...

http://media.scout.com/media/image/23/230977.jpg

And then use the picture icon
and paste the URL in there.

Wolah!

Just noticed this thread. In terms of linkage, if you want to create something like this , write down the word or phrase you want to be shown, and then press the
button and copy in the URL.
