SOK would have been exposed pretty badly imho. Doesn't turn it.

Then again, neither does Jadeja, so there may have been some hysterical fanbois who would have rated SOK the best ever or something.

Jadeja even when not turning it is incredibly accurate and has all the tricks with flight, line and length. When it is turning, he gets that turn even on 95kmph deliveries instead of low 80s. That is where jadeja is far apart from many. Much more smoother Tufnell, getting same amount of pace on the ball without showing as such.

The McGill and Hogg both might have got mentioned. MacGill is a better bowler once batsmen are clueless. Hogg was much better against good players of spin.
I'm not sure how Hogg would have gone in an extended Test career. Probably ok but not as good as Warne or MacGill. ATG ODI player though.

Lyon easily.
Lyon has won Australia 3 or 4 tests against India iirc ( Adelaide 2014, Perth 2018, very good on 2017 tour to Ind).
McGill was extremely crap in 2003-04 BG trophy even when playing with a very strong batting line up ( scoreboard pressure)

Yeah but MacGill won Aus test matches in Ashes series, which a lot more Australian supporters GAF about than series vs India, at least until recently.

Didn't Lyon won Aus 1st test vs Eng in 2019. Was also very good in 2017 Ashes series iirc.

I dunno. I htink he did take a bagful in one of the early tests, come to think of it.

He certainly fumbled one, though tbf he had the criminal thug out lbw and not given in the same match. One of test cricket's most appalling examples of an umpire completely giving way to home town sentiment.

I will pay that

no fractures currently though. From recent images all bones appear to be in full working order

Bowled better than Warne nearly every time they played together too ftr
McGill was smoked last time he toured in SL, whiel Warne was bowling in God mode. Once again, average depends on opposition. If opposition can play spin, then mcGill invariably average twice as much as Warne. Lucky that he didn't tour India, or otherwise would have averaged 100 against them.
