If you want me to simulate the ODIs as well, I'd be happy to do it, so its up to you guys if you want an ODI simulation.Roll on ODIs. Everyone knows limited overs cricket means more than tests anyway.![]()

go for it somerset. and, as i said before, really appreciate your time and effortIf you want me to simulate the ODIs as well, I'd be happy to do it, so its up to you guys if you want an ODI simulation.
I considered playing finals for the test simulation but Nufan was so far ahead that I thought he deserved to be declared the winner. Will definitely do semis and a final for the ODI draft using a Super 8 style ODI format though.Ah could we have Test finals pleeease?
Where available I'll include strike rate in the statistics.lol at the bowling orders clearly never used VC4 before.
Are we including batting s/r?
Yes it does, just not a major effect.VC4 doesn't take SR into account in its simulations though, even if they're entered.
Nah, it actually doesn't, at all.Yes it does, just not a major effect.
Not necessarily. It just dictates which order the bowlers are used in. VC4 uses an "Overs per Match" calculation to determine how many overs a bowler will bowl.the lower down the bowling order, the fewer overs that bowler should bowl.
I know it does in Twenty20 atleast. But maybe that was the bowler's e/r change.Nah, it actually doesn't, at all.
I'm pretty sure it doesn't. I remember reading about how John Cole wanted to incorporate batting SR into it, but put it off until the next version which of course never materialised. The SR input in the file has no effect on the scorecards in VC4. The only reason the entry spot for SR exists is for backwards compatibility of the then proposed VC5 with existing VC4 files.Yes it does, just not a major effect.
This. But maybe that was the bowler's e/r change.
