Murali is not a chucker and will get the record before shaun warne because they are versing a second eleven zimbabwe side. Agree or disagree????

i disagree well at least about the doosra though they at the uni in WA will give it the all clear maybe they should put hidden cameras in the nets on the same angles that they would at the place they do the testing then after the net session or after they checked if its ok or not and yes i agree 520 will come first for murali cause he plays first

International Vice-Captain
Of course Murali will get the record first, unless he is injured or something (you know, like being cracked around the ankles with a cricket bat by an Aussie..).
But that's not to say he's a better cricketer, just like Warne isnt better because he got to 500 first..
I think all the anticipation will be there about one or the other getting it first and blahblah (just as it was about 500), and then in the end, no one will care much because they both got there.

What's really so attainable about getting the hands on the record first? It's bound to change hands with every tour the Australians/Sri Lankans make anyway, since both Warne and Murali are a class better than the other bowlers in their respective teams and as such will both take buckets of wickets on each tour.

I wonder what Mcgrath and Gillespie will make of that...

McGrath is injured, as yet. Gillespie, though a good bowler, isn't quite in the class of Warne.

Icc Man 1 - So.. The Doosra report from the UWA leaves Murali in a bit of a dodgy situation...

Icc man 2 - Simple! Lets just change the rules! then nobody will be able to chuck the ball...

Icc Man 1 - Brilliant! why didnt we think of that earlier?

Icc man 2 - Because we are spineless duffers... Oh and what shall we do about Zimbabwe?

Icc man 1 - Who??

Is it right that the ICC now allow a certain "snap" in a bowling action?
That is discriminatory to the 'crackle' and 'pop' Rice Krispies. It's all Mugabe's fault.

No.

Is it right that Murali is allowed to carry on chucking?

No.

Is it fair that his action is being scrutinised by Sri Lankans?

Make what you will, but I think not.

P.S. Essex are on T.V. May 3-6. You have no excuse not to watch. :D

The following are perfectly acceptable excuses for not watching Essex:

1. I am drunk
2. I am not drunk
3. I have to water my garden
4. I have to water my dog
5. I have to perform an autopsy on myself
6. I have to wash my hair
7. I have to wash my rabbit
8. OMG!!!!111111lolEssex!!!!!11111lol11one (that's for the younger CWer)
9. That's not cricket. That's cicada.
10. I have just invented a time machine and gone back to disrupt the TV schedule meeting. Essex are no longer on TV between May 3 and May 6. Mission accomplished.
11. I am having an affair with David Beckham
12. I am not having an affair with David Beckham

Note : No's 11 and 12 mean the same

It beggars belief.. You can tell they want to save some face, and a quiet change of the rules should do the trick.. Typical bloody ICC...

I feel sorry for guys like Upul Chandana who cant get a game abroad because of this chucker, and Shane Warne who has to put up with being second best.. Not to mention the batsman he torments...

How many times are you going to say this when you're wrong?

Get the facts right - he was scrutinised by the UWA, and the report into that is now in the hands of the SL board to decide their course of action.
