Morne Morkel

Morne ****ing Morkel. So delighted he is dong well.

I hope Richard can shut the **** about him for good.
You should know by now that it takes more than something that has already been done before - ie an isolated decent (yes, decent, not superlative) spell or two - for me to change my tune.

When (if, indeed) Morne Morkel becomes a good bowler, I'll say he's a good bowler. Until such a time, I won't be raving and frothing about how good he must be because he has this or that natural asset.

Geroff Bycott thinks him and Aamer will be the next big things on the bowling front.Hope it turns out that way.:)

Hey can't Morne bat a lil' aswell? I mean hes at like no.8 and he seems to be relatively secure untill the England series.

Yet to see Richard swearing in the forum. Or is it just me?
I don't do it all that often - it doesn't reflect too well on the site to see staff members' posts constantly filled with asterisks. Something you'll see reflected in staff member posters in general.

It's not a big deal really. Silentstriker went on a tirade when his US sports team lost in the NFL. Swearing isn't a sin.

It's not a sin, and IRL I think nothing at all of it, but not swearing very often in posts is just a little bit that staff members can do for the site that's a piece of piss to do and makes a miniscule positive impact.

James never feels comfortable if he's constantly reading staff members' posts which are full of ****s, and I'm not surprised.

Wow we need people to feel comfortable around the threads innit.

Hope this doesn't apply to mods.

I've tended to presume it does and certainly always noticed Pete and Jack (the first specialist GMs) exceptionally rarely used to post stars in ye olde days. Gelman certainly used to loads but cut it out almost completely when he became a mod.

Obviously the simple way to find-out would be to ask James.

Has Morne finally turned the corner? That spell last night seemed impressive, if fortunate.

Or is he just going to remain a quick with 'potential' like a sub-Johnson?
