here are the voting rules
you rank the three best and three worst teams - the best and worst teams get three points, the seconds get two and the thirds get one - don't rank the middle three, they get no points. the winner of the voting is the team with the least points after exactly a week from now (but probably that night)

The Honestly Mediocre Hunks - My side but will attempt as impartial an analysis as possible. Except Lara, Border and peak Mitch Johnson, and Katich to an extent, this side is the very definition of international mediocrity. Lara and Border both no strangers to having to carry a team but here is the catch - both teams they carried very bottom of the pile (Border built them up back to the top, but I am talking the 80s here). But with both of them and Katich and Johnson both capable of great performances even though they had pretty middling career numbers overall, this is a side that is set to be mediocre in any competition.


Pothas XI - A lot of blokes who can do a bit of this and bit of that. Problem is the bowling is shockingly poor instead of being just mediocre. And I dont think the batting will help shore them up to an average level as a side.
I mean Craig White as your strike bowler?


Howe XI - A very similar side to mine but he has attempted to shore up both disciplines with one great. But the one great batsman is the greatest of all time and even with very limited support, we know he can take the team to big scores often enough. Will the rest of the side's shockingly poor quality ensure they finish at an average spot in the table? I will say they will go slightly north of that.




Blue Meanies - Some of these players were mediocre but some of them were outright poor who only played due to there not being enough options other than them during that time. Again, a side too poor to be mediocre by definition, but since this is a competition between the sides, I guess I will see how they rank up when I do the final ranking.




mr XI - Perhaps the most mediocre side of the ones chosen, at least amongst the ones I have gone through so far. Again, the bowling borders on poor than just mediocre though.



Meh XI - Another good shout for the most mediocre side. Just think a theme among all these sides has probably been that everyone is afraid to pick even one good bowler and have gone for really some of the poorer ones.




Some Kind of Not-So-Wonderful XI - I am gonna rate this as the most mediocre of the sides in this competition by the definition rather than just comparison. I mean, it has mediocre players all across the team. Perhaps the best side picked given the spirit of the competition.




International Mediocrity - A really good mediocre selection spoiled by Barry Richards up there at the top.




The Swamp Things - Mediocrity, 'tis a Marshy area ain't it? There is a pretty decent side hidden in all the sludge though. Reasonable batsmen and a decent bowling attack. May not be the most mediocre one but deserves points for creativity maybe?
