Patrick called up as late replacement as Edmunds is injured in pre-game warm-up
Richard Edmunds, more affectionately known to fans as 'Dickie', has pulled a groin whilst preparing for the 1st test which is about to get underway. Edmunds was reportedly enjoying a light game of Bocce with fellow quick Shounak Ganguly, when, in a bizarre turn of events and a few ricochet's later one of the balls found its way into the groin of Edmunds. Patrick was said to be delighted after the incident.

TF fight hard in eventual stalemate
The TF have battled hard to force a draw on a pitch most onlookers described as "Flat as Glenys Murphy's chest" . Some brilliant hundreds were made and the bowling was good in the second dig. The TF will look to attack next game to force a result.

We were really looking down the barrel there, so it was good to fight back and put ourselves in a position where we might of grabbed the points. Good hit out. Top knocks by Borcich and Blackman.

Why the **** did Blackman bowl just 7 overs in the match? No wonder we didnt win. Borcich to step down as simmer

Dilmah Invitational vs Testing Forum CC - Played at Galle

The TFCC went to Galle just hoping for a good competitive work out, and that's exactly what they got from a spirited Dilmah Invitational XI. Winning the toss and batting first the away team limped to 262, mainly due to the work of Fuller, Blackman and Mittensmonger, while first gamer Burpe showed signs. Dilmah started off well before Edmunds sparked a dramatic colapse, snaring 6/36. The second innings was hurrendous, with the TFCC seemingly out of sorts on a vicious turner, being bundled out for 94, before they defended the 196 needed for victory, with Mittensmonger claiming 4 scalps.

Improvement in the batting must be made if the TFCC hope to obtain a result against Sri Lanka in the 2nd test.

TF defeated in trying Galle conditions

The TF have put up a brave fight in the 2nd test match played in Galle. Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first. The TF were led by some steady bowling by Patrick. The tf then batted and looked in trouble at 4/90 but then some clean power hitting from mad-woman Phillipps and some characteristically good nurdling from Dauth saw the TF reach 263. Some handy bowling in the second innings from Edmunds and Patrick meant that the TF would only require 125 to win, but an easy chase was not quite in Sri Lanka's mind. The tf capitulated to be 89 all out. A disappointing end to a game in which we were pretty much set for victory.

I'd just like to confirm I sustained my side strain whilst laughing at Cameron's 'Rebel Tour'
Haha wasn't that tour a joke.

Bad luck lads, squad wasn't exactly how we hoped it'd be with injuries and what not but lets get a win and make sure we dont lose the series.

Boy, can't that Philipps hit a ball.
