-I've become slightly more stat-obsessed than I was (which is saying something!)

-I've managed to beat the other half up into getting broadband ("Honestly, darling it'll pay for itself in a month or two" )

-Ironically for a cricket site it has got me into the NRL in quite a major way

-I've come across otherwise reasonable-sounding people who don't hate Robbie Williams (I thought such folk didn't exist!)

In three years it's taken me from borderline cricket geek into hardcore cricket geek.

I have a much, much greater understanding of the game now - I now have a hatred for statistics when they're used as a stick to beat people with. I've also greatly improved my writing and it's heavily centred my career aspirations towards journalism.

If some one argues with some thing you think and gives you points to validate it, it is RUBBISH? Every one can have a point of view. You have to learn to accept surely that there are different ways of looking at things and its not always as black and white as right and wrong.

Not sure. I guess I have a better understanding of the cricket opinions of fans from other parts of the world now, and I'm sure I've had my opinions influenced in some way or another in various discussions on here.
