And since there is no evidence to prove he is a racist, then until it is proved we have to assume he is not a racist.

Exactly - I just hope everyone realises this rather than goes down the "he's a South African so of course he's a racist because someone misheard a sledge" road.

Maybe Smith should learn to keep his mouth shut ?

If so so should everyone else.
There's no reason Smith should keep his mouth shut while everyone else is allowed to shout theirs off.
