Hayden: "..Ganguly and Harbajan chickened out.."

honestbharani

Whatever it takes!!!
ok dude, if he so scared of green tracks, the guy played 113 test matches, surely you can find me at least one other instance of him ducking out on a green top. What about his avarage of 65 in england over 9 matches? Were they all flat decks in England? Does this mean that Indian tracks are greener then English tracks......if that is the case then out batting lineup with their averages are unequivocally the best batsmen of all time!
yes according to Hayden's rule of chickening out, Sachin, Ponting, Ganguly and Harbhajan are all cowards and only play on favourable tracks!

robel was responding to a troll.. So those posts are just as trollish. No need to keep responding, IMO.. If you read the last post by robel, you will understand. He is one of the better members.. :)

Ganguly was notably weak against the short ball, but then probably, a lot of players were.

He did manage to overcome it and score some fine innings, so let's hand it to him over there.

I would find it highly unlikely that Ganguly, of all people, would 'chicken' out of a match against Australia, however unprepared he was.

I should upload it! His shot selection was good, but he got fed a lot of garbage from Bichel in particular. Most aussies want to forget every test that Bracken played.
using your rule of disregarding every achievement of an opposition player, purely because you didnt field your full strength side.......indian fans would not value any achievement against them in the past two years as during this period, as 98% of the time we havent had a full strength side to call upon! So by applying your rule, India must have the best test match squad of all time as they havent lost a test series since Aug 2008 despite having injured players in most games (as it only counts when you have your full team e.g. Ganguly vs Bracken)

when setting precedents like Gangulys record in brisbane dont count for much because it was against bracken and co, you open up a big can of worms

List of India first team players who were significantly injured during our unbeaten test series run since Aug 08:

Sehwag, Gambhir, Dravid, Laxman, Dhoni, Yuvraj, Zaheer, Harbhajan, Ishant, Sreesanth, Kumble

and there are many instances where the above players did play despite being injured, bit like michael clarke and ponting did in the ashes (but they were crap and might as well have sat out anyway) unlike sachin whose perpetually injured and laxman who had a crippled back and won a game single handedly against the aussies.

Whats Ponting's average in world cup finals? Whats Sachin's? We can go all day if you like, there will be no winner. Care to go next?
how many finals has ponting played in.....4
how many finals has sachin played in......1

sachin has carried the hopes of his team on his own back for majority of his career, ponting has only done that for the past 1.5 yrs and look how its impacted on his performance.....he cant perform with the pressure! Imagine sachin if he had as good teamates as ponting did at his best, he would have been 10 levels above ponting. Sachin had his best year last year despite being old and way past his best, this because he played for the worlds best team and he had many others to share the burden, something ponting had till 1.5 years ago.

We would not have won the test series. Don't be a cry baby and make us look bad.

Draw would have probably been fair.

calm down Merv Dhillon.........as HB mentioned Robelinda is one of the better posters on this forum, if not the best. He was responding to a troll so his posts seem trollish. Stop responding to them

it is not justifiable to discredit cricketers and their achievements even in the name of troll responding.

secondly, sehwag fans first comment was about vvs laxman, the batsmen thats probs caused more damage to them over the last ten years than most. what is trollish about that? I think its a very fair point, tbh.

Lol robelinda one of the better posters? Sure he is the best guy to turn to for vids and stuff but he hasn't done enough to be considered a good poster. His good post average under pressure is dire tstl. Only posts well when conditions favor posting.
