5fers for Wagg and Petal, and a comfortable run chase for our 4th win in 5 (with both Lancashire and SA getting beat)

Good times are returning to the Oval, only problem was the lack of a decent batting effort first time round costing us some points :(

If my calculations are right, Surrey should actually be leading Division 1 for the 1st time ever...

Not happy Leics:@:@:@ How could you guys stuff up such an awesome lead and lose:(:@

In other news, Somerset back in winnings ways with a comprehensive POUNDING win over Karachi. Chougale and Donald both made centuries, Langer and Rayadu made 92 and 70* respectively and of the bowlers, Prasad was the best with 7 wickets for the match.

In the end Somerset won by 266 runs...

I think so as well, and on a bit of a good roll as well.

I believe it's 10 wins from 12 this season so far.

Would have loved the odds on a Surrey Title win at the start of the season!!!

First aim is avoid relegation from Div 1 and promotion play off in One Day.

Anything over that and we've exceeded my hopes...

dave can back me up on this, but at the start of the season i predicted surrey and lancs to be my toughest opposition for the four day title, so far ive been proved right, however, a loss to yorkshire wasnt in the script....

Havn't bothered to open the scorecards, but seen as i did a vanishing act with a non submittal, plus today has been a shocker. I wont bother opening for a while.

That was an awful bowling effort. Dunno what's gone into Ali, one for 109 in this match and dismal in the last one too...batting wasn't much better either.

Division 2, here we go...

305 RUN PARTNERSHIP SEES KENT CRUSH LANCASHIRE

A 305 run partnership for the second wicket between G.Blewett and A.Christian in Kent's second innings set their side up for a big win. That's now three innings in a row that Lancashire have folded for less than 200 and all I can promise is that somebody's due for a huge backlash in the next round!

KENT - 207

A.Christian - 54
L.French - 51
G.Blewett - 32
H.Fernando (15-5-40-3)
Q.Boxall (14-2-47-3)

LANCASHIRE - 189

R.Dravid - 54
V.Bharadwaj - 37no
S.Stanton - 31
W.Khan (18-4-34-3)
R.Olney (10-3-36-3)

KENT - 465

A.Christian - 193
G.Blewett - 150
S.Manjrekar - 34
Q.Boxall (30-5-118-4)
H.Fernando (31-5-129-3)

LANCASHIRE - 140

T.Hawkins (9-3-31-3)

Win to Kent by a massive 343 runs!
